A bitter-but-mostly-sweet almond/apricot kernel biscuit liqueur from Italy - though other national variants are available / 20-28% ABV / c£15-25+ for 700ml
Friends with: bourbon, brandy, pisco, grappa, dark rum. Cuts wonderfully with citrus. Anything stonefruit-related: cherries, apricots, peaches, etc. Chocolate, cream, cinnamon, Angostura bitters. Coffee-based barista drinks. Pumpkins.
