The Spirits #86: The Obituary

~ A Hallowe’en Special ~

~ THE OBITUARY ~

50ml gin
15ml French vermouth
~5ml absinthe

Freeze your glass. Place all the ingredients in a mixing vessel along with a ton of ice and stir very patiently for a minute. Strain into the cold glass and garnish with lemon or olives or a human eyeball or all three.

Some Obituary notes:

1. Mwaaahahahahahahah.

2. It’s a Martini with absinthe in it. Delectable, right? Other acceptable Halloween serves include Arsenic & Tonic (gin, absinthe and tonic), Satan’s Whiskers (that’s a Bronx with added orange liqueur) or the Corpse Reviver (see here).
