Oh man, this brings back so many memories. Four years ago we went to Venice for a week. Every single day, at around 5pm, we would make our way towards Campo Santa Margherita to sit down at the Caffè Rossi for Spritzes and nibbles (and for the boys to be allowed to play on their iPads after all the walking and sightseeing). We still mix them often - always with wine and fizzy water, never with Prosecco, just as in Venice.
A good Spritz is a thing of beauty, and yours looks lovely! ❤️
I'm off again to Venice tomorrow and plan on having a spritz at the Caffe Rosso. It is such a wonderful spot. I am a Campari girl, but in Venice I often order my spritz with Select.
Very nice. Personally, I haven’t got the hair on my chest yet to enjoy Campari in heavy doses. I made a Negroni rift this past summer that utilized the tiniest bit of Campari that I really enjoyed - 2oz Roku Gin, .25oz Campari, club soda, lemon twist. Love reading The Spirits, thanks for posting!
My favourite one yet, Richard. It’s a bit of me, that Spritz. Thanks for the weekly boost, as always.
Thank you for the tips. I’m an enthusiast of that drink.

Here I am, craving a mid-afternoon Campari
The best collaboration! Amazing combination to make us want summer to last longer.
