I like the idea of a looser format - for space reasons I tend to rotate which spirits I have so I can’t always make that week’s drink (though I still enjoy reading the newsletter).
Since you’ve mentioned Benedictine, that would be a good one for the Cabinet.
Happy for you to change the format as you wish. Funnily enough I made a couple of PINs on Wednesday evening, for the first time, as I had some pineapple juice needing drinking. Fabulous drink!
Just to say on your enquiry about the newsletter future, if you need a looser format, fortnightly or monthly would work better than just as and when (because I really, really appreciate the shopping list aspect, I am a list maker). Or whatever works for you; Thursday or Saturday posting also aok by me if Fridays aren't good.
As for extra bottles, you started with six and upped with another six after a year or so. Now that it's two years, expanding the cabinet seems more than reasonable. It would be good to keep it fairly tight (I am running out of cocktail cabinet space, and by that I mean there's no more room in my kitchen at all), but if up to six extra bottles would greatly expand the options, that would be grand. Hope that helps!
